Greetings, people of the internet,
this was both a turbulent week and also the complete opposite somehow. Anyway, let's start with my priorities of last, namely finishing my entry for a then ongoing Minecraft Datapack Jam, working on two separate short film projects, and doing a lot of some boring "paper work".
1. We (a friend and I) finished the Jam entry right on time, sending it in 15 minutes before the deadline, suffering from some game breaking last minute bugs, we were unfortunately able to quickly patch. I still think we managed to deliver a quite good product with realistic winning chances. We added a little robot from some ancient civilization to the game.
2. My friends and I were able to bring both of the film project to completion and near completion in just a few days by working 10+ hours shifts. Working on them was still very funny.
3. The "paper work" turned out to need me to scan every page of 4 entire folders. I was unfortunately only able to scan the contents of two of them, but that took 4 hours already.
Further, I got new glasses last week and participated in a First Aid training.
I thought about whether I could confidently call myself a kind person.
Furthermore, I want to add something to the title of this week's report, "Uncivilized". During the last to weeks thanks to the Datapack Jam and the short film projects did I get into something of a workaholic-flow-state-thing. On many days did just stand up, work on the given project until 1 AM and go to bed again with only short breaks for eating and using the restroom. What often went forgotten on those days were the simplest self-care aspects. Two weeks later, my flat looks like a mess. That's kinda weird.
My priorities of next (this) week will be...
Scanning the contents of the two other folders.
Cleaning up, as I don't want to further live in the aforementioned mess anymore. I already started yesterday.
Further, do I want to get back on the game project I'm working on and bring it at least very close to the finish line this week.
Ole370's Weekly Report will return next week...
