Hello, people of this (sometimes) glamorous World Wide Web,
let’s start this weekly report by again taking a look at last week’s priorities, namely preparing for upcoming exams, going to social activities and finishing some small tasks which were piling up.
Talking about exam preparation is always boring. Just know, I did prepare and I did write some exams.
I normally wouldn’t go into much detail, considering my social activities, but today I am just really happy with what happened. Last week, I told you that I would go to two birthdays, but I only went to one really. It’s not that I didn’t go to the second location, it’s just that what I thought would be a friend’s birthdays was actually a surprise party for me; it should be noted that I did not celebrate my actual birthday a few weeks ago. I got some wonderful friends. :)
Lastly, I had the priority to just finish some small things, and finish I did:
I finally finished my collection of thoughts about AI.
I signed some paperwork.
I mostly finished planning Minesweeper in Minecraft.
I overhauled some back-end stuff about my blog.
Then, going over to a lightning round of unplanned thing I did this week:
I spend some time learning about the possibility of adding custom block models using Minecraft Datapacks and Resource packs.
I learned about the new /dialog Minecraft command, which allows one to add custom interfaces.
I wrote some notes down for a possible future blog post. I realized that there isn't really a reason to keep your phone online all the time. It is for many reasons much more helpful to have it offline by default.
I pondered the possibility of building a small weather station in my garden. Especially, I wondered if I were able to 3d-print an anemometer, you know those spinning spoon things, which are used to measure wind speed.
I talked to some local politicians this week, leading me to think about a decrease in moral courage in the general population.
I thought about how my self-perceived "identity" influences my behavior.
My top three priorities for next week are the following:
Exam preparation always sounds a bit boring, but will be needed as long as exam season isn't over.
I want to have some interesting new conversations. I've been talking much over the past weeks, but maybe I'll need to do a bit more listening again.
Finally, it's time to go back to working on my game, a difficult tetris-like with hexagons.
